I have so many wonderful memories of good times with Harvey & Beatty: Trips to the barn to watch him milk. He would always manage to “squirt” Cindy and me. Riding Cindy and me on the back of his tractor as he cut alfalfa. Weekend camping trips in the back of his truck to Colonel Denning SP with the Grange. Late summer hayrides where he would hitch a wagon to his tractor and drive us around on the back roads of Port Royal. I recall a typical Harvey kindness when I accidentally left my gas cap at the station as I was getting gas. Upon telling Harvey of my loss, he promptly took the cap off of his car and insisted I take it, simply saying that he could go get another one. His was a life well lived.
Thanks, Harvey. I hope the applause was thunderous when you entered Eternity.
