Francis W. “Franny” Phipps, 76, of Mifflintown, passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at his residence.
Born on November 6, 1944 in Montgomery County, PA, he is a son of the late Francis W. and Anna (Rath) Phipps. On June 16, 1985, he married his late wife, Marie E. (Jefferies) Phipps, with whom he was blessed to share nearly 26 years of marriage before she preceded him in death on June 10, 2011.
Surviving him are two sons, Parkey F. Phipps and his significant other, Abby O’Shura of Middletown and Randy S. Phipps of Lewistown; and one sister, Diane Carl and her husband Ted of Pottstown.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one son, Toby Phipps.
He was employed for most of his life in the Construction industry.
Franny enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, and hanging out and getting into trouble with his family and friends.
He will be remembered as a wonderful, loving husband, a great father, and a loyal friend.
All Services will be private.
