OBITUARY NOTICE
WILLIAM H. NASH, JR.
William H. Nash, Jr., 82, of Mifflin died at 12:10 PM, on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at his residence.
Born on October 7, 1938 in Buffalo, Erie Co., NY, he was a son of the late William H. Sr. and Millie (Schutt) Nash. On April 18, 1974, he married his late wife, Kathleen K. (Kaczkowski) Nash, with whom he spent more than 39 years of marriage before she preceded him in death on November 17, 2013.
Surviving are three sisters, Virginia Lebeau of Laguna Woods, CA, Betty Williams of Placentia, CA, and Lorraine Baron and her husband Robert of Depew, NY; and several generations of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Nash and a sister, Kathleen in infancy.
He was a member of the St. Jude’s Catholic Church, Mifflintown and the Kiwanis, and a past member of the Knights of Columbus.
Mr. Nash retired from Weis Markets, Inc., in Lewistown and he proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
Bill loved collecting stamps, coins, sport memorabilia, especially Buffalo Bills paraphernalia and was an authority on Hollywood actors from the 1940’s and 1950’s.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
The Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown has been entrusted with the arrangements.
