Obituary for Thomas L. "Tommy" Geedey
Thomas L. “Tommy” Geedey, 63, of Mifflintown passed away at 1:32 PM on Monday, December 14, 2020 at the Bridges at Brookline.
Born on April 13, 1957 in Lewistown, Mifflin County, he is the son of Robert M. Geedey of Mifflintown and the late Letitia E. “Tish” (Cleck) Geedey.
He is survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donnie Lynn Geedey.
He was a member of the Pine Grove United Methodist Church and a 1976 graduate of Juniata High School, both of Mifflintown and during high school, Tom will long be remembered for his play on the football field.
In earlier life, Tom was employed as a truck driver for E.C. Cleck and Son and later Valley Proteins, both of Mifflintown.
His life was being a truck driver, wearing and collecting hats, and collecting toy trucks.
Public Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, December 21, 2020 at the Westminster Presbyterian Cemetery, Mifflintown with Pastor Parrish Munro officiating.
There will be no public viewing or visitation.
With his love of dogs, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mr. Geedey’s memory can be made to R.O.F.F., P.O. Box 6, Lewistown, PA 17044.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown.
