Obituary for Margaret J. "Peggy" Fleck
Margaret J. “Peggy” Fleck, 94, of Port Royal, passed away at 7:08 AM on Monday, Dec. 14, 2020 at her residence.
Born on October 11, 1926 in Walker Twp., Juniata County, she is a daughter of the late J. Clyde and Margaret Grace (Bashore) Milliken.
On December 20, 1947, she married her late husband, David Paul Fleck, with whom she was blessed to share over 71 years of marriage before his passing on April 6, 2019.
Surviving her are her children, Linda M. Fleck of Mifflin, James D. Fleck of Webster, MA, and Frank M. Fleck and his wife Susan of Woodstock, CT; four grandsons, Eric, Marc, David, and Joseph; three great granddaughters, Erica, Shea, and Raven; and one great-great granddaughter.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a half brother, Paul John Clugston making her the last of her generation.
Her memberships included the Port Royal United Methodist Church. Port Royal Book Club, and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
Peggy enjoyed knitting, sewing, and painting; however, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family.
All Services will be Private.
