Obituary for Wilbur P. Graybill Jr.

Wilbur Paul “Wil” Graybill, Jr., 43, of Richfield, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020.
Born on June 1, 1977 in Lewistown, Mifflin Co., he is a son of Wilbur P. and Linda K. (Dunn) Graybill of Richfield.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Shianne M. Graybill of Richfield; one grandson, Axton L. Hemperly; several aunts and uncles; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Michelle L. “Mich” Graybill on October 4, 1993.
Mr. Graybill was a 1996 graduate of East Juniata High School in Cocolamus.
He enjoyed auto racing of all kinds; football, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers; riding four wheelers; and most of all, cherished the time spent with his family and friends.
Wil had battled addiction for many, many years and the disease of addiction is absolutely merciless. It is up to us to open our hearts and minds to those who are still sick and suffering from this terrible disease. Wil wanted to live and would not want us to cry for him, but instead, fight for him and fight for the many others who have been infected by the same disease. He is finally free and at peace, resting with his beloved sister, Michelle.
Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 PM, Thursday, October 15, 2020 from the Church of the Open Door, 3191 Middle Road, Richfield with Pastor Jerry Knouse officiating. Interment will be private at the Westminster Presbyterian Cemetery, Mifflintown.
