Obituary for Curtis G. "Curt" Kint



Curtis G. “Curt” Kint, 63, of Mifflintown (Arch Rock), passed away unexpectedly at 7:55 PM, Monday, May 25, 2020 at his residence.
Born on January 23, 1957 in Spruce Hill Twp., Juniata County, he is a son of the late Alton J. “Aukie” and Arlene A. (Naylor) Kint.
Surviving are: his wife, Diana L. (Dillman) Kint of Mifflintown; children, Jesse A. Kint of Mifflintown, Allison R. Kint of Conway, SC; siblings, Keith A. Kint and his wife Kathy J. of Mifflintown, Kevin L. Kint of Spring Grove, Karen R. Rode and her husband Michael of Harrisburg.
In 1972, he was preceded in death by his brother, Doyle E. Kint.
Mr. Kint was a 1974 graduate of Juniata High School, Mifflintown, and a 1977 graduate of Williamson Free School of Mechanical Trades, Media, PA.
Curt began his career as a mason, working in Iowa. He completed many jobs throughout the states of Iowa and Florida until he eventually moved back to Pennsylvania, where he began employment with Houck Construction. He later joined his father with Alton J. Kint and Son Remodeling and eventually started his own company, Kint Construction.
Curt enjoyed NASCAR racing, loved music, playing his guitar, and DJ-ing; however, his greatest joy was hanging out with his family and friends and last, but not least, his beloved dog, Brinlee.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sat., July 11, 2020 at the Lions Club Park in Port Royal
Memorial Services will be from 11-12 Noon, followed by a picnic with music, food, and drinks. The family has asked for those in attendance to come as they are.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown.
