Mrs. Margaret Sue Thompson , loving wife of Pastor Dennis R. Thompson, 75, of Lewistown, went home to be with the Lord at 8:14 AM on Monday, July 22, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her family.
Born on July 3, 1944 in Baltimore, MD, she was a daughter of the late Claude and Rachel Beatrice (Mitten) Wilson.
On February 27, 1960, she was married to her surviving husband, Pastor Dennis R. Thompson, with whom she was blessed to share over 59 years of marriage.
Mrs. Thompson lived her life serving her Lord and Savior. Two scripture passages that were meaningful to her in her walk through life and that she wanted to share with everyone were: John 3:16 KJV – For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life; and Romans 10:13 KJV - For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
