Obituary for Marjorie J. Fronk

Marjorie J. Fronk, 83, of McAlisterville, passed away at 12:23 a.m., on Thursday, June 13, 2019, at her home.
Born May 24, 1936, in Fayette Twp., Juniata County, she was a daughter of the late Ray and Margaret A. (Duncan) Singer. Her first husband, John W. “Pug” Shank preceded her in death on May 9, 1985, and on July 18, 1987 she married her surviving husband Lawrence E. Fronk, with whom she was blessed to share more than 31 years of marriage.
Surviving are her children: Delbert Shank of Mifflintown, Melvin Shank of McAlisterville, Peggy Shank of Mifflintown, Stepchildren, Tracey Wilson, Kenneth Fronk both of Mechanicsburg, Siblings, Kenneth Singer, Hughesville, Janet Willow, Mifflintown, Dorothy Jean Hoglund of Newmanstown, 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Bunkertown Church of the Brethren where she was active in the Women’s work of the church. Her hobbies included gardening, sewing, reading and time with her family. Marjorie’s constant devotion to her family, church and friends will long be remembered.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 17, 2019, from the Bunkertown Church of the Brethren with Pastor Wes Stahl officiating. Interment will follow in the Lost Creek Mennonite Cemetery, Oakland Mills.
There will be no viewing; however, family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
