Obituary for Warren F. Eaton Sr.

Warren F. Eaton Sr., 87, of Honey Grove, passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019 at the Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
Born on April 21, 1931 in Fannett Township, Franklin County he is the son of the late Alexander W. and Carrie Grace (Worthington) Eaton. On April 25, 1955 he married his late wife Juliann T. (Warner) Eaton with whom he was blessed to share more than 58 years of marriage before she preceded him in death on November 1, 2013.
Surviving are his children; Warren F. Eaton Jr. of Honey Grove, John A. Eaton and his wife Cathy of Mifflintown, Theodore J. Eaton of Honey Grove, Jeremy P. Eaton and his wife Tina of McAlisterville, Joseph M. Eaton of Honey Grove, a daughter-in-law, Rayona Eaton of Mifflin, 2 brothers, Harold Eaton of Altoona, Thomas Eaton of Shippensburg and a sister, Dorothy Hockenberry of East Waterford and he leaves behind 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, a son, William S. Eaton, a grandson, Derek J. Eaton, a brother, Herbert G. Eaton and a sister Ruth Allison preceded him in death.
After he proudly served his country during the Korean War with the U.S. Army, he was employed most of his life as a heavy equipment operator and a truck driver.
Warren loved taking walks and woodworking.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 15, 2019 from the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge Street, Mifflintown with the Rev. Brittan Stimeling officiating. Interment will follow in the Upper Tuscarora Presbyterian Cemetery, Waterloo where full military burial honors will be accorded by the Juniata County Veterans Council.
A viewing will be from 1 p.m. on Friday, until the time of service at the funeral home.
