Obituary for Gary L. Naugle

Gary L. Naugle, 68, of Port Royal (Walnut), passed away from an extended illness at 1:05 AM on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at his residence
Born on November 11, 1950 in Lewistown, Mifflin Co., he is a son of the late Richard D. “Bill” and Helen L. (Williamson) Naugle.
On May 3, 1969, he was married to his surviving wife, Carrie A. (Arnold) Naugle with whom he was blessed to share over 49 years of marriage.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Bill Naugle of Dillsburg, Terry Naugle and his companion Becky, and Lori A. Hosler and her husband Donald, all of Port Royal; four grandchildren, Cody Naugle, Chelsea Hosler, Nathan Hosler, and Brooke Hosler; and he leaves behind two precious great grandchildren, Teygan Warner and Bentley Hosler.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David H. Naugle, making him the last of his generation.
Gary was a 1969 graduate of Juniata High School in Mifflintown and was employed for 41 years at Standard Steel in Burnham where he retired from the Wheel Mill.
Mr. Naugle was a life member of the NRA and enjoyed collecting and working on old cars. His hobbies included attending car shows and attending all kinds of sales but his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown with the Rev. Dan Rockwell officiating. Interment will follow at McCulluchs Mills Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Friday, January 18, 2019 at the funeral home.
