Obituary for James M. "Jim" Leiter Jr.
James M. “Jim” Leiter, Jr., 67, of Mifflintown, passed away at 4:32 PM on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born on October 15, 1951 in Lewistown, Mifflin Co., he is a son of the late James M. Sr. and Patricia (Lauver) Leiter.
Mr. Leiter was a 1970 graduate of Juniata High School and proudly served our country in the United States Navy and the Pennsylvania National Guard.
He was employed and retired as a Painter from ACPI in Thompsontown.
Surviving are his children, Courtney L. Leiter and her companion Joseph Port and Garrett J. Leiter and his companion Garin Beasom, all of Mifflintown; siblings, Thomas Leiter and his wife Cheniene of Mifflintown and Amy Kauffman and her husband Chad of Reading; and two grandsons.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by a son, George Daniel Leiter in infancy and a brother, Daniel Leiter.
All Services will be Private.
