Obituary for Richard L. "Rich" Huff Jr.
Richard L. “Rich” Huff, Jr., 69, of Mifflintown, passed away at 7:15 PM on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his family.
Born on June 9, 1949 in Lewistown, Mifflin Co., he is a son of the late Richard L. and Emma (Baxter) Huff. On May 8, 1970, he married his surviving wife, Connie R. (Grove) Huff, with whom he was blessed to share over 48 years of marriage.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Richard L. Huff, III and his wife Robin of Camp Hill, April M. Leonhard and her husband Keith and Rebecca S. Ehrenzeller and her husband Scott, all of Mifflintown; two brothers, Robert L. Huff and his wife Fonda of Mifflintown and Randy L. Huff and his wife Tammy of Port Royal, seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Richard C. Huff.
Rich was a 1969 graduate of Lewistown Area High School and proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps and the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, where he retired after 21 years of service. He also was employed and retired as an Over the Road Truck Driver after 35 years of service.
Mr. Huff was a member of the American Legion Post 298 in Mifflintown where he was the former President of the Home Association and a former Commander of the Sons.
All services will be private.
