David A Blansett
David A. Blansett, 71, of Honey Grove, passed away at 8:20 a.m. on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at his residence.

Born June 13, 1947 in Johnstown, Cambria County, he is a son of the late Esther Blansett.

David is survived by his wife, Linda (Jacoby) Blansett with whom he was blessed to share 48 years of marriage; one son, Christopher Blansett; two brothers, Gerald and Dennis Blansett; and a sister, Renee (Blansett) Collier and her husband Randy.

Mr. Blansett honorably served our country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War as an Engineer on the USS Great Sitkin which was an ammunition ship.

His employment included U.S. Steel and retiring from the Mechanicsburg Navy Depot as a Packer.

Memorial Services will take place in Johnstown, PA at a future date and will be announced later.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the Faith United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 32, East Waterford, PA 17021.
